The reason why teens are on the lookout for something new and different is almost a given: they are working on their identity.  Teens want to identify with something that makes him or her feel good about themselves.  When something new comes out, all the teens and their peers check it out. If it sticks for a while, it's a fad. If it sticks around for a longer time, it becomes a trend."- D. Francis

DANGEROUS FADS!

Some teen fads are dangerous.  One fad in particular which is on the rise is "HUFFING", which is: the deliberation inhalation of toxic gases, vapors and fumes in order to become intoxicated - possibly to the point of intoxication.
