Kecedra “Ms. Kaye” Kernisant, Producer of TEEN TALK IT OUT  has been a strong advocate for children over the past years.  Beginning as a Junior Achievement volunteer, Kecedra assisted elementary school students with understanding the concept of starting a business.

Throughout the years, Kecedra continued to participate in various activities and functions benefitting children and adolescents.  With extreme passion for the well being of children, Kecedra chose a college course of study to benefit children in a greater capacity.  Kecedra graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Psychology. Her goal was to provide social services to children who came from difficult circumstances. Shortly thereafter, Kecedra launched her own private tutoring company.  Through tutoring, Kecedra remained active in helping children to succeed on an academic level.

Later, Kecedra would to take her love and passion for the welfare of children to a more profound level.  In 2005, Kecedra founded KAMP KERNISANT FINE ARTS CAMP with the mission of giving children the “Gift of the Arts”. Kecedra believed that there is not enough ARTS in the lives of children today. Through research, Kecedra would inform parents that children who participate in the ARTS (1) Score higher on standardized testing (2) Are likely to pursue a college education, and (3) Are less likely to succumb to the dangers of peer pressure.  Kecedra knew that early exposure to the ARTS is what kept her immersed in creative expression and able to withstand negative influences and peer pressure.

As an actress/theatrical performer, classical music enthusiast, and modern dancer, Kecedra was never able to deviate from her love of the arts – long after her high school years.  KAMP KERNISANT FINE ARTS CAMP debuted on May 31, 2005. Kecedra was featured on three segments of Channel 4 News, encouraging parents to give their children the “Gift of the Arts”.

Kecedra continued her commitment to the success of children and teens by working for programs such as TEAM UP, Community Connections, and providing Pageant Coaching to High School pageant contestants.  Kecedra currently works as an advocate and provider of social services for children in foster care.   Witnessing first hand what today’s youth, particularly teenagers, must cope with on a daily basis - Kecedra believes there must be an outlet for teens to freely discuss issues and receive needed support when unable to handle emotional situations.

Realizing this, Kecedra launched the local TV show TEEN TALK IT OUT, which will:

(1) allow teens to talk about any issues that they face

(2) share experiences and get advice on how to cope with difficult situations

(3) come to the LIVE tapings of the show and experience the FUN,    ENERGY, GAMES, FOOD, and PRIZES
